COSTELLO PUSHES FOR ANSWERS ON LIEN CERTIFICATE PRINTER ISSUES

Baltimore City’s lien certificate printer recently broke down resulting in a back log of over 1,000 lien certificates necessary to complete real estate transactions, bringing our real estate market to a screeching halt. Councilman Costello sent a letter to the Department of Finance seeking more information and pushing for the immediate development of a back-up plan, in an effort to ensure future continuity of our real estate market. The full letter is linked below and was recently covered in the Baltimore Sun.
